The Biggest Obstacle to Universal Child Care: Babies

The Atlantic talks to Alyson Silkowski about the issues that come with implementing universal childcare, highlighting her work as co-author of the Project 2029 Child Care Choice Guarantee, as well as one of the authors of the National Parent Survey Report. Silkowski focuses in on findings from the survey that find that most parents of babies don’t want to use formal childcare arrangements until the child is at least one.
